This ten footer, designed by Stephen Redmond and built here in Washington State is a modern classic.
She was built as an ultra-light rowboat (only 50lbs!)
with 4mm okoume marine (B.S. 1088) plywood hull, covered in glass with epoxy resin.
The lapstrake construction creates a very strong boat while using lightweight materials.
She has cedar thwart, gunwales, inwales and sternsheets, curly maple outer-stem, knees, oarlock blocks and skeg.
The keel is made of oak and the oarlocks are bronze. She has a dozen sealer coats and a half dozen top coats of Deks Olje for a really nice, traditional finish.
This boat definately turns heads!
New, she would be $4500, but since I rowed her for a couple of seasons, I'm asking $3500.
Light, fast and pretty, she's worth every penny.

What's all over the transom? Nothing, dude, it's just shiny. Those are the rocks reflected in the gloss.
