Maple end table

I cut this slab from a nice curved trunk of maple in the jungle just off the Salish Sea.

Look at the amazing grain.

It's almost aflame in the right light!

The legs are made from drift-wood

and the whole table is sealed & protected by five coats of poly-urethane.

This table is 17 inches high and approximately 26 x 16 on top.

It weighs 26 pounds.

(That's half the weight of one of my boats!)
